PC Update - Dec. 5, 2018 (Auraximas has Arrived)

PC servers will be taken offline on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at 6 AM PT (1400 UTC) for maintenance. Downtime is expected to last up to 3 hours.

Auraximas 2018

Each year, the sights of Auraximas stir the spirits of soldiers everywhere; a reminder to take time for one another, and focus not only on the war, but the world in which we fight it. Snowmen abound during the holiday season, and the battlescape is dotted with festive lights and decoration.

Snowmen, Cookies, Fruitcake

On each continent, you'll find snowmen scattered throughout, which provide progress toward your holiday directive. The rare golden snowman will yield a special holiday hood ornament if killed!

In addition, players now have access to deployable snowman bodyguards in the utility slot. These bodyguards can be deployed outdoors, and will soak damage toward your holiday directive.

Ammunition packs are now loaded with cookies, and C-4 explodes into a delicious spray of fruitcake.

Auraximas III Directive

This year's directive has new rewards, including a banner, title, and festive NS shotgun that, once unlocked, can be used all year round.

• Tier 1: Empire Specific Holiday Hat
• Tier 2: 20 Certs, Basic Implant Pack
• Tier 3: 100 Certs, Auraximas Banner
• Tier 4: "Grouchy" title, "The Little Helper" shotgun

Misc. Changes, Fixes, and Additions

• Completing the Exceptional II directive now awards players with the Solid Gold Weapon Camo, instead of a single-use version. Players who have already had the directive unlocked will receive grants of the new permanent camo at a later date.
• VE-H Maw and VE-H Maw AE will once again have smooth animations while starting a reload while sprinting.
• Squad Waypoints once again use the correct colors on the HUD while in a platoon.
• Fixed an issue where certain camo weren't showing the correct colors, please report any remaining issues.
• Added a couple more loading screens.
