We're currently conducting rolling zone restarts on the PC Live servers. Any zone that is successfully restarted (which takes place when a zone is locked, when a zone is brought down manually, or when a zone crashes,) will receive the following updates.

Spawn System
We're rolling back some of the spawn-related changes made prior to the Oshur update. This brings back use of the Spawn Priority system, with a notable change that moves squad beacon respawns to a 10 second cooldown, opposed to the 15 second cooldown it used prior to the update. This also corrects the instant spawn beacon and beacon-blinking bugs that were introduced with the Oshur update itself.

But beacons are still the best spawn (I think sundies and and hard-spawns are at 12 atm). I am very sad that the defs think we should spent more time waiting for a respawn rather than actually playing.
btw the spawntimes are a passive buff to vehicle-farming.
I can not get my head around why they brought something into the game that made squad-gameplay really powerfull and meaningfull, and than they threw it away again. Like they dont want tactical infantry shit.
This makes me salty, but dont worry, I will be over it in a few hours.
